Ashley McCard, CPA
Controller
Ashley McCard brings 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax compliance to her role at Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM). As Controller, she oversees the firm’s daily accounting operations, including payroll, financial reporting, and budget management. Ashley is an integral part of the finance department, helping to guide the firm’s strategic financial decisions.
Before joining CTWM, Ashley was an Associate Vice President for Ares Management Corporation, managing the firm’s general partner and employee co-investment funds. She previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she was responsible for tax compliance and consulting in the asset management space.
Education
Ashley holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Connecticut and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Castleton State College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Management. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Affiliations & Community Involvement
Ashley resides in Bloomfield with her husband and their son, Connor. Outside of the office, she enjoys visiting new breweries, golfing, skiing, and spending time with her family.
