Meet the Team

Brendan T. Conry, Sr. brings more than 35 years of experience advising business owners, executives, 401(k) plan sponsors, and not-for-profit organizations. He draws on his deep background in fiduciary consulting to design customized investment and retirement strategies that help clients achieve their long-term goals. In his role, Brendan partners with businesses, plan sponsors, and nonprofit boards to enhance plan design, investment governance, and fiduciary best practices. He also supports Connecticut Wealth Management’s (CTWM) strategic growth initiatives, expanding the firm’s retirement plan and endowment consulting capabilities.

Brendan brings the perspective of a founder and longtime business leader. After establishing Conry Asset Management in 1986, he spent nearly four decades building trusted relationships and guiding clients through evolving market and regulatory landscapes. This entrepreneurial experience gives him a unique ability to anticipate client needs and shape strategic solutions that align with their long-term vision.

Education & Certifications

Brendan earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®), Chartered Financial Consultant^® (ChFC^®), and Chartered Life Underwriter^® (CLU^®) designations.

Affiliations & Community Involvement

Brendan currently serves on the Investment Committee of the New Britain Museum of American Art and the Florence Griswold Museum. He is also a Trustee Emeriti of the New Britain Museum of American Art after serving many years as a trustee including as Chairman of the Board 2003-2006. He also served for many years as a trustee and Treasurer of the CCSU Foundation.

Brendan and his wife, Carol, continue to support many organizations such as the New Britain Museum of American Art, CCSU Foundation, Klingberg Family Centers, Prudence Crandall, CCARC and Artis-Naples. They split their time between Avon, CT and Naples, FL where they enjoy visiting art museums, travelling & playing pickleball.
