Meet the Team

John Russo joined the Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM) team full-time in June 2025 as an Analyst, following the successful completion of the firm’s internship program. In his role, John partners with advisors to provide strategic support, develop comprehensive financial plans, and uphold CTWM’s commitment to exceptional client service.

Education & Certifications

John graduated cum laude from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a double minor in Finance and Psychology. He also completed the college’s Entrepreneurship Pathway Program, which provides students with an interdisciplinary foundation in entrepreneurial thinking and innovation across fields.

Affiliations & Community Involvement

At Connecticut College, John was a four-year letterman and two-year captain of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team. He served as a three-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and held the position of President during his senior year. In addition, he was an active member of the Peggotty Investment Club, where students manage a portion of the college’s endowment through hands-on investment experience.

Outside the workplace, John enjoys traveling, golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He currently resides in South Windsor, Connecticut.
