Meet the Team

Miguel Carneiro, CFP® brings over a decade of industry experience to Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM), where he helps clients build thoughtful financial plans tailored to their life goals. Miguel’s approach is centered on strong relationships; he genuinely enjoys getting to know clients and supporting them through financial milestones with patience, clarity, and care.

Before joining CTWM, Miguel served as a planning consultant at Fidelity Investments, where he worked collaboratively with advisors and clients to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans.

Education & Certifications

Miguel graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) licensee. 

Affiliation & Community Involvement

Miguel has been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager* by Crescendo Business Services (2025); the elite list appearing annually in Connecticut Magazine.

Miguel is actively engaged in community service and serves on CTWM’s Charitable Committee. Outside of work, Miguel is passionate about soccer and won the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship in 2013. He continues to play in many leagues across Connecticut and New York.

Miguel also enjoys playing the guitar and loves spending time with his wife and their two children.
