FARMINGTON, Connecticut — Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM) is proud to announce that Megan Trask, CFP®, Partner & Managing Advisor, has been named a Hartford Business Journal (HBJ) Top 25 Women in Business honoree.
The Women in Business Award recognizes outstanding female leaders in the Greater Hartford business community. Honorees are distinguished by their professional accomplishments and their influence in shaping the future of their organizations and communities.

Trask joined the firm in 2016, bringing over a decade of experience in financial planning and wealth management. She is one of the youngest partners in the firm’s history, playing a pivotal role in shaping CTWM’s strategic direction, fostering sustainable growth, and maintaining the firm’s mission of delivering personalized financial planning and investment solutions.
“I’m honored to be recognized among such accomplished women who are shaping the future of business in Connecticut,” said Trask. “CTWM is committed to helping turn life’s aspirations into reality for our clients and team, and I’m grateful to be part of a firm that values innovation, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact.”
Trask is an advisor for business owners, executives, and multigenerational families, prioritizing their financial well-being and helping them navigate complex financial decisions with confidence. She also serves on the firm’s leadership team, bridging the gap between advisory services and firm management, ensuring client needs inform broader business strategies.
In her past role as Director of CTWM’s Investment Committee, Trask led a team of 15 advisors spearheading initiatives that enhanced the firm’s investment philosophy and offerings.[EW1] Trask’s leadership extends beyond investment strategy—she is a mentor and advocate for advancing women in finance, ensuring the firm’s mission and investment philosophy are embedded in all aspects of client service.
Beyond her professional achievements, Trask is also deeply engaged in the local community. She serves on the Investment Committee for The Village for Families & Children and volunteers with organizations such as Healing Meals and Habitat for Humanity.
She has been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Crescendo Business Services (2018-2024), the elite list appearing annually in Connecticut Magazine; and was named to HBJ’s 40 Under Forty List (2020). She resides in Suffield with the husband and their two sons.
Trask and the other honorees will be celebrated at a ceremony on May 2, 2025. Previous CTWM Hartford Business Journal Women in Business award winners include Kathleen Christensen, Partner & Managing Advisor.
