We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our internal team. This role plays a key part in supporting our teammates with technology needs, collaborating with our Managed Services Provider (MSP), and helping integrate and maintain industry-specific platforms such as Practifi and eMoney.

Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for internal IT / Technology support requests, resolving Level 1 technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with our MSP to escalate and resolve more complex issues in a timely manner.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to financial planning and CRM platforms including Practifi and eMoney.
- Assist with the onboarding of new teammates, including workstation setup, software access, and account provisioning.
- Monitor system performance and proactively report issues or anomalies to internal teams and the MSP.
- Work with our cybersecurity partners to monitor security dashboards, identify potential risks, and ensure prompt remediation.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and software processes to maintain an internal knowledge base.
- Provide internal support and basic training on software applications, including AI-enhanced tools and Microsoft 365.
- Ensure conference room technology and virtual meeting systems are fully operational and user ready.
Skills and Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of IT systems, networking, and end-user device support.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn financial platforms such as Practifi, eMoney, Salesforce, or similar.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to follow process, manage time effectively, and balance multiple
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits.
- Team player who can collaborate well with internal departments, external MSP, and other technology partners.
- Comfortable working in a secure and regulated environment with sensitivity to data privacy.
- Primarily working in the office with work-from-home flexibility.
Preferred Tools & Technologies
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Halo)
- CRM and financial planning tools (e.g., Practifi, eMoney, Orion)
- Remote desktop and endpoint management platforms
- Video conferencing platforms and conference room technology (e.g., Surface Hub, Zoom, Teams)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and dashboards
