Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM) is a well-established, fast-growing, independent, registered investment advisory firm. CTWM is currently hiring an experienced Senior Client Service Specialist to serve as the operational leader of an advisory team. This role is ideal for a service-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is passionate about mentoring others.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients—handling service requests, providing timely communication, and ensuring seamless client experience.
- Join and contribute to client meetings, handling service-related topics and follow-up with precision.
- Build strong relationships with clients while fostering a collaborative team approach to service.
- Provide client education and support on digital tools such as online portals, document vaults, and e-signature systems.
- Operational Leadership – acts as the “COO” of the advisory team—leading day-to-day client operations, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Take ownership of service workflows, anticipating needs and driving accountability for timely execution.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to service processes, data management, and team structure.
- Run reports to monitor client activity, ensure data integrity, and support client review preparation.
- Execute a wide range of client transactions: account openings, transfers, rollovers, deposits, withdrawals, EFTs, wires, beneficiary changes, and more.
- Perform precise calculations for tasks like tax withholdings, RMDs, and share conversions.
- Coordinate directly with custodians (e.g., Fidelity) to resolve complex servicing issues efficiently and professionally.
- Serve as a role model and mentor other Client Service Specialists—providing day-to-day guidance and technical training as needed.
- Lead by example in embodying CTWM’s service standards, culture, and core values.
- Participate in the onboarding and training of new service team members.
- Support the development of firmwide best practices by collaborating with teammates and proactively sharing insights.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, ideally supporting high-net-worth clients in a client service or operations capacity.
- A natural team player—motivated to help others grow and succeed.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead within a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- Comfort with financial concepts and digital tools (Microsoft Office proficiency required; Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Ability to work regularly in our Farmington, CT office, with work-from-home flexibility.
