Meet the Team

Alec Rosen brings over 15 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management to his role as Director of Growth & Advisory Services at Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM). Alec has seen firsthand the impact sound financial advice can have, which is why he is passionate about connecting individuals with a firm that prioritizes fiduciary advice and long-term planning to help clients pursue their aspirations.

At CTWM, Alec leads the firm’s growth initiatives while also providing leadership and strategic direction across the advisory, planning, and Client Service Specialist (CSS) teams. He serves as the primary point of contact for prospective partners and plays a key role in integrating new teams into the organization. In addition to driving growth, Alec works closely with advisors and planners to ensure a consistent client experience that reflects CTWM’s collaborative culture and planning-first philosophy.

Prior to joining CTWM, Alec held leadership roles at notable financial institutions including Edward Jones, Pioneer Investments, and LPL Financial. He was also a founding member of the M&A team at Adviser Investments, where he helped drive strategic growth initiatives across the firm.

Education & Certifications

Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Union College and a certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ (CFP^®) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®).

He also completed the G2 Leadership Institute, a two-year program designed to develop leadership and business management skills for advisors seeking to elevate their impact within their firms.

Affiliations & Community Involvement

Alec is active within the professional community and currently serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Connecticut, where he is the Membership Chair. He was named to the InvestmentNews 2025 Under 40 Rising Stars list.

Alec lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts, with his wife, Lizzy, and their daughter, Grace. Outside of work, they enjoy exploring historic sites and spending time on the golf course, where Alec and Lizzy are active members of Kernwood Country Club.
