FARMINGTON, Connecticut — Connecticut Wealth Management (CTWM) is pleased to announce the addition of Heather Rhoades as Partner, Trust Services, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in estate planning coordination and multi-generational wealth planning.

“This is an area where coordination really matters,” said Kevin Leahy, President and CEO of CTWM. “Heather brings deep technical experience and a highly collaborative approach that strengthens our ability to support families through some of the most important planning decisions they make.”

Rhoades brings more than 27 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multigenerational families on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, trust administration, charitable planning, estate settlement, and business succession.

Prior to joining CTWM, she was a Partner and Chair of the Private Clients Group at Cummings & Lockwood LLC, where she focused on advising clients on a range of estate and trust planning matters. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a distinction recognizing significant achievement in the trusts and estates field.

At CTWM, Rhoades will lead the development of the firm’s trust services capabilities, working with advisors, clients, and external attorneys and tax professionals to help coordinate estate planning strategies within the broader wealth management relationship. Her work will focus on supporting clarity and continuity in legacy and wealth transfer planning.

“I’ve spent my career working alongside families and their advisors on complex estate planning matters,” said Rhoades. “What attracted me to CTWM is the opportunity to help build a trust services platform within the firm’s commitment to client service and holistic planning approach.”

Rhoades added, “I’ve known Kevin and Denis for over 25 years and have always respected the way they’ve built this firm around clients and long-term relationships. This role felt like a natural extension of that.”

The addition of Rhoades expands CTWM’s ability to support clients through complex estate planning and wealth transfer decisions, enhancing coordination of legacy planning strategies as part of a comprehensive financial plan.
